A Wedding For All Seasons
While planning your wedding ceremony and reception, you probably have already considered the venue, your wedding gown, the color scheme, and the flowers that are available that time of year. If you tailor your wedding according to the season, you will find that you will have a ceremony that is unique and in keeping with the trends of the season. Here are a few tips to consider when planning a seasonally appropriate wedding.
Spring Brides
The time for birth, renewal, and celebration, spring is Nature’s official wedding season. Spring is the perfect time of the year to think of outdoor weddings, garden parties and delicate Victorian floral themes. It is really economical because an outdoor wedding ceremony won’t require you to have as many decorations because Mother Nature takes of that with her vivid hues.
Wedding Attire: Light pastels – think buttery yellow, baby blue, lilac, blushing pink and soft green. Adorn yourself with fresh blooms of the season. Bridesmaids should do the same. Menu: Fresh fruity drinks, citrus flavors, strawberries and cream, and poultry work best. Wedding Favors: Flower or garden themed favors, seed packets, potpourri sachets and herbal teas make ideal wedding favors.
