Free Bridal Shower Games and Ideas
The bridal shower is one of the most important events on the journey to the perfect wedding day. It’s a time when friends and family can gather together for the bride. At this event gifts are given; usually of a playful wedding day nature. We may tell funny stories about our past wedding day. The bridal shower by all means should be a fun event for everyone. One way we can do that is by planning some fun and games to be present at the shower. Here are some ideas for free and inexpensive bridal shower games.
Game #1 - First Kiss
The wonderful first kiss between the person you feel in love with and married should be unforgettable. Right? Here’s how this game works. Start with the bride. She should not have a problem describing her first kiss, where it happened, when, etc. Now when she is done with her story it’s time to open the floor unexpectedly. Everyone will now have to tell the tale and recall the first kiss they had with their significant other. If this event happens to have both male and female marriage counterparts have them tell the story separately and see how they match up. Should be good for some laughs.
Game #2 - Magic Word
As each visitor enters the house give them an object like a ribbon or tassel to hold on to. Tell each person that they are not allowed to use the words “Wedding” or the groom’s name. If they get caught saying it the person who caught them gets to take their ribbon or tassel. The person by the end of the day or game who has the most ribbons or tassels wins the game.
